A land port could be established in the Andijan region with the involvement of Malaysia’s Mutiara Perlis

Uzbekistan is engaging with a Malaysian company to explore the possibility of constructing a land port in the Andijan region to enhance transport links and foreign trade.

New transport corridors and railway projects were discussed:

  • “Kashgar — Torugart — Makmal — Jalal-Abad — Andijan”;
  • Trans-Afghan highway;
  • The Mutiara Perlis representatives expressed their readiness to study the project and consider cooperation.
