What happened
An Australian investor is prepared to establish a plant in the Tuproqqal’a district.
- Production capacity of 600 thousand tons of aviation fuel and 50 thousand tons of “green diesel” annually.
- A 4 GW solar power plant on a 5,500-hectare site supplies power.
- Slovak investors will cultivate rapeseed on 5,000 hectares and produce biofuel in the Tuproqqal’a district.
- $2 billion in investments have already been implemented in the region: 25 thousand industrial enterprises are operating; production volume has increased 2.2 times compared to 2017.
- Large-scale infrastructure projects were initiated: a railway bridge across the Amu Darya, the construction of apartment buildings, and hundreds of kilometres of water supply and sewerage networks. The poverty rate has decreased almost by half to 6.8%.
- The President instructed creating all conditions for investors: accelerating infrastructure issues, land use, and launching more than 100 new enterprises.
