What happened
- Connecting to the services will be carried out in two stages: service information → confirmation by the client via SMS, USSD, or a call;
- Automatic connection will be completely prohibited;
- The draft rules are being prepared by the Ministry of Digital Development, and the document is undergoing approval.
Context
Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Jamol Makhsudov acknowledged the problem and noted that the new rules will eliminate mass violations. This aligns with the course towards strengthening consumer protection in the digital sphere.
