Why is this important
The decrease in median indicates a shift in the labor market structure: the share of mass, low-paying vacancies is increasing, and supply in profitable sectors is decreasing. This affects household incomes, consumer demand, and social stability.

Context
According to the results of the third quarter of 2024, the median offered salary was 6,378,457 soums (an increase of +16% year-on-year). In the first quarter of 2025, the median on hh.uz was 5,914,579 soums, which is 14% higher than in the same period last year.
Average nominal wages are increasing, but this is an averaged indicator that does not reflect the shift in the structure of vacancies. Increased job supply doesn’t always lead to improved quality and pay — the market is saturated with low-paying positions.
