Biography of Akmal Khodzhakulov
Born in 1981 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Plekhanov Russian Economic Academy with a bachelor’s degree (2003) and a master’s degree from the Banking and Finance Academy (2010).
From 2006 to 2024, he worked in various positions within the Aloqabank system. From 2012 to 2024, he headed the Navoi, Yunusobod, and Mirobod branches, operational management, and later served as regional manager and head of the Tashkent regional branch.

Poytaxt Bank is implementing a top management update amid competition in the banking sector. The arrival of specialists from Aloqabank – one of the largest private banks in the country — may indicate a strategy for strengthening the corporate block and developing a branch network.
