- On September 5, the dollar exchange rate increased by 83 soms and reached 12,520.78 — the highest in two weeks;
- On September 6-8, the exchange rate remained above 12,500;
- On 9 September, the dollar declined by about 80-81 soums, bringing it closer to 12,440 soums.
- The euro and pound also showed an increase of more than 150 soums last week.
Context
At the beginning of September, the dollar remained below 12,400. The surge on September 5th is linked to fluctuations in global currency markets and increased domestic demand.
