Context
Uzbekistan is already actively working with foreign partners in uranium mining: the South Zhangeldi project is being implemented with the participation of the French company Orano through a joint venture with “Navoiyuran”. Against the backdrop of global demand for “critical minerals”, such agreements have not only economic but also strategic significance. The success of the initiative depends on investments, infrastructure, technological development, and the reliability of partners.
