This is part of the new Save Food government program to combat waste and reduce food waste. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Also, until the end of 2025, it is planned:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop the procedure for <strong>separate<\/strong> storage of agricultural products,<\/li>\n<li><strong>organize<\/strong> monitoring of the movement of products at all stages: from collection to storage,<\/li>\n<li>revise the <strong>sanitary<\/strong> norms in the production and sale of products (term \u2014 February 2026),<\/li>\n<li><strong>to teach<\/strong> the population, especially young people, the principles of rational consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to estimates, one-third of all food products in the world are wasted or thrown away. Uzbekistan is adapting international practice \u2014 such shelves with discounted goods are common, for example, in EU countries and South Korea.
