Yusupov, visited Amman and held talks with Jordanian authorities and companies.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cNavoiyuran\u201d State Enterprise and Jordan Uranium Mining Company have begun official discussions on geological exploration work for uranium sites.<\/li>\n<li>A memorandum and a roadmap for cooperation in the copper, rare metals, and other industrial metal extraction have been signed with the national Arab mining company.<\/li>\n<li>A bilateral working group has been established to thoroughly study promising areas for uranium and non-ferrous metals.<\/li>\n<li>Experts from \u201cNavoiyuran\u201d conducted an inspection of promising uranium zones in Jordan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Geology of Uzbekistan notes that cooperation will strengthen the country&#8217;s potential in the mining industry and provide access to strategically important minerals. Jordanian representatives noted their readiness for technical exchange, investment, and joint projects with Uzbek companies. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan is already actively working with foreign partners in uranium mining: the South Zhangeldi project is being implemented with the participation of the French company Orano through a joint venture with \u201cNavoiyuran\u201d. Against the backdrop of global demand for \u201ccritical minerals\u201d, such agreements have not only economic but also strategic significance.
