This affects the liquidity, growth strategies, and stability of the entire banking system. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>NBU<\/strong> leads in the number of depositors \u2014 almost <strong>1.6 million<\/strong> people;<\/li>\n<li>However, <strong>Kapitalbank<\/strong> leads in terms of the volume of funds in accounts \u2014 more than <strong>25 trillion soums<\/strong>, <strong>10 trillion<\/strong> more than in the National Bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Average deposit amount:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to the NBU \u2014 <strong>8.9 million soums<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>to the Kapitalbank \u2014 <strong>26,3 million soums<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>to the TBC Bank \u2014 <strong>almost 30 million<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Xalq Bank has more than 1.2 million depositors, but the average amount is only <strong>5 million<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>\u0423 Anorbank \u2014 845 \u0442\u044b\u0441. \u0432\u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0447\u0438\u043a\u043e\u0432, \u043d\u043e \u0432 \u0441\u0440\u0435\u0434\u043d\u0435\u043c \u043f\u043e <strong>9,1 \u043c\u043b\u043d \u0441\u0443\u043c\u043e\u0432<\/strong> \u043d\u0430 \u0441\u0447\u0435\u0442;<\/li>\n<li>State banks are mass, but \u201csmall\u201d in terms of deposits; private ones are less mass, but \u201cdeep\u201d in terms of volumes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Financiers note <strong>that private banks previously focused on wealthy individuals<\/strong>, while state banks focused on corporate deposits. This gave the first access to long money and flexibility in lending. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now <strong>state banks are trying to make up for what they missed<\/strong>, but the structure of depositors is changing slowly.
