This is especially important against the backdrop of tightening financing conditions and increasing rates. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From December 2025, the entrepreneurship development company will begin issuing guarantees and sureties;<\/li>\n<li>Large businesses will be able to receive up to <strong>10 billion soums<\/strong>, but not more than <strong>50%<\/strong> of the loan amount (including leasing);<\/li>\n<li>Medium and large businesses in the production, service, and green economy sectors will also gain access to guarantees of <strong>up to 10 billion soums<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurs with good credit history will be able to count on a <strong>50% increase<\/strong> in the limit;<\/li>\n<li>From 2026, entrepreneurs from remote regions will be compensated for part of the loan through refinancing \u2014 from <strong>1.5 to 5 billion soums<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experts believe that expanding support tools will make programs more accessible for regional businesses and enhance the impact of government policies on import substitution and employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2024, entrepreneurs received guarantees totaling approximately 2 trillion soums. Uzbekistan is gradually expanding the tools of indirect support for SMEs, including benefits, grants, and guarantees.
