People are trying to maintain the value of funds against the backdrop of inflation and instability. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On October 3, <a href=\"https:\/\/frank.uz\/en\/news-en\/the-banks-of-tashkent-have-almost-run-out-of-gold-bars\/\">there were<\/a> <strong>17 bars<\/strong> in the banks of Tashkent, and as of October 7, there were already <strong>4,756<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The most affordable 5 gram bars are <strong>2,378 units<\/strong>, priced around <strong>7.8 million soums<\/strong> (depending on the exchange rate and margin).<\/li>\n<li>The largest bars \u2014 100 grams \u2014 are only <strong>60 pieces<\/strong>, each cost almost <strong>160 million soums<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Demand is growing: in 2025, banks have already sold <strong>17,387 bars<\/strong>, which is more than in the entire period of 2020-2023.<\/li>\n<li>According to official data from the Central Bank, the price of measured bars is: 5 g \u2014 7.69 million soums; 100 g \u2014 153.83 million soums.<\/li>\n<li>Infinbank sells ingots weighing 5, 10, 20, 50 grams in packaging; you can buy back when checking the packaging quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The increase in sales and supply indicates that the population perceives gold as a long-term asset \u2014 not for quick trade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Central Bank regularly updates the prices of gold bars, taking into account the global price of gold and the domestic margin of banks.
