The parties agreed to continue work in specific areas of cooperation. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The NAPP reports that Meta&#8217;s &#8220;prospects for opening a representative office&#8221; and cooperation in digital security and advertising were discussed. The publications emphasize that Meta&#8217;s office will facilitate the review of user complaints, speed up communication with authorities, and improve the quality of support for creators. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Online platforms in Uzbekistan are already subject to taxation: foreign companies pay significant sums for digital service taxation services. Previously, Meta operated in the country through remote structures.
