This is the key to the accelerated industrialization of Uzbekistan. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The EDB report estimates Uzbekistan&#8217;s processing industry export growth potential at <strong>$3.86 billion<\/strong> (26%).<\/li>\n<li>In the region, only Kyrgyzstan and Armenia show similar growth rates.<\/li>\n<li>For comparison: Kazakhstan \u2014 $7.75 billion (13%), Belarus \u2014 $5.07 billion (16%).<\/li>\n<li>Uzbekistan accounts for 5.46% of the region&#8217;s potential in this segment, with a share of 2.78% in current exports.<\/li>\n<li>According to estimates, the combined effect of industrial growth, import substitution, and exports could exceed <strong>$15 billion<\/strong> annually.<\/li>\n<li>Industrial production can grow by up to <strong>17%<\/strong> if the potential is realized.<\/li>\n<li>Main drivers: expansion of mechanical engineering, chemical industry, new industries with added value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan is already focusing on industrialization and diversification of the economy.
