But such measures carry social risks \u2014 employees may lose their jobs, especially middle-level managers. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2,141 management<\/strong> staff positions have been abolished.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The largest number of dismissals by department:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tax Committee \u2014 498 positions<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Water Resources \u2014 224<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Agriculture \u2014 218<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Justice \u2014 197<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Ecology \u2014 176<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction \u2014 163<\/li>\n<li><strong>16 positions<\/strong> of deputy heads in committees, agencies, and inspections were abolished.<\/li>\n<li>After optimization, the number of managers in republican bodies will be <strong>46,989 people<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Ministry of Economy and Finance has been tasked with reducing at least one deputy in state-owned companies with 50% state ownership and optimizing management staff by 10%.<\/li>\n<li>The rehabilitation centers for former prisoners under the khokimiyats will be abolished, their functions will be transferred to the \u201cInson\u201d centers.<\/li>\n<li>In previous years, there were already significant reductions: in October 2024 \u2014 2,845 positions (5.2%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Staffing optimization is part of the overall course towards digitalization and reducing unnecessary administrative apparatus.
