{"id":10877,"date":"2025-10-14T10:17:51","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T05:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/frank.uz\/bez-kategorii\/uzum-offers-to-invest-in-uzpost\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T10:17:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T05:17:51","slug":"uzum-offers-to-invest-in-uzpost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/frank.uz\/en\/news-en\/uzum-offers-to-invest-in-uzpost\/","title":{"rendered":"Uzum offers to invest in UzPost"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Why is this important<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For Uzum, such cooperation could become a connecting link between e-commerce and the country&#8217;s logistics infrastructure, while for UzPost, it could accelerate the modernization of the postal network, digitalization, and improve delivery efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uzum stated that it intends to invest in<strong> infrastructure modernization<\/strong>, logistics, branch development, and digital solutions in collaboration with UzPost.<\/li>\n<li>The company&#8217;s plans for 2026 include expanding the network of order delivery points to over 1,000 across the country and increasing the share of orders delivered through postal infrastructure to 10% of Uzum Market&#8217;s total order volume.<\/li>\n<li>Uzum intends to invest more than $1.5 billion in Uzbekistan within 3-4 years, and logistics with UzPost is one of the priorities.<\/li>\n<li>UzPost previously <a href=\"https:\/\/frank.uz\/en\/news-en\/uzpost-explained-the-rumors-about-privatization-investor-is-possible-the-state-share-has-not-been-sold\/\">responded<\/a> that it was considering attracting investments and that \u201cin the case of a large investor, all information will be disclosed according to the law\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>As previously reported, part of UzPost&#8217;s shareholders were changed: among the new ones are the State Assets Management Agency and the National Investment Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The state-owned <a href=\"https:\/\/frank.uz\/en\/news-en\/uzpost-privatization-russian-marketplace-could-buy-the-state-share\/\">stake<\/a> in UzPost could be privatized, and a potential buyer could be a Russian marketplace \u2014 specifically Wildberries.
