The activation of brands intensifies competition, changes market structure, and reduces dependence on benefits. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total food taxes \u2014 <strong>1.1 trillion soums<\/strong> (29.3% increase).<\/li>\n<li>The trade turnover of the industry amounted to<strong> 12.78 trillion soums<\/strong> (an increase of 36.4%).<\/li>\n<li>The number of legal entities is <strong>20,163<\/strong>, a 3.7% increase.<\/li>\n<li>Benefits decreased to <strong>118.6 billion soums<\/strong> (minus to 21.5%).<\/li>\n<li>The top 20 companies contributed <strong>213.3 billion soum<\/strong>s in taxes (an increase of 46.8%), or <strong>19.4%<\/strong> of the industry&#8217;s total revenue.<\/li>\n<li>The new leader is <strong>International Foodchain (KFC):<\/strong> <strong>62.4 billion soums<\/strong> in taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Second place \u2014<strong> Mak Food Service (Evos brand):<\/strong> <strong>43.9 billion soums<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Newcomers include: Dodo Pizza, Bellissimo Pizza, FeedUp Eco.<\/li>\n<li>The main growth was attributed to VAT (increase by 44.8%) and personal income tax (increase by 31.3%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the public catering system paid 999 billion soums in taxes. The share of large networks continues to grow, especially through franchising.
