This is part of a broader state policy on promoting the national language. Builders will have to adapt marketing strategies by abandoning foreign names.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From January 1, 2026, the names of the residential buildings being built must comply with the norms of the state language;<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory use of the state language for the passport of the object, signs and inscriptions on the fences of construction sites;<\/li>\n<li>Advertising and announcements about the facilities being built must be published in the Uzbek language;<\/li>\n<li>Regional inspections will receive more authority in issuing permits and accepting objects;<\/li>\n<li>The integration of E-XSUD and the environmental permit system with \u201cTransparent Construction\u201d is being launched.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reinforcement of control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regional inspectorates will be more actively involved in the processes of issuing permits for the commencement of work and the operation of buildings. Developers are obliged to provide them with documentation on author&#8217;s, technical, and internal supervision. <\/p>\n<p>By the end of December, the service for issuing acceptance certificates for completed facilities through public service centers and the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services should be launched.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan is pursuing a policy of strengthening the position of the Uzbek language in all spheres. In recent years, laws have been adopted on the mandatory use of the state language in document management, signage, and advertising. The requirement for residential complex names is a continuation of this trend.  <\/p>\n<p>Many new residential complexes in Tashkent and other cities have English-language or mixed names (for example, Green City, Grand Park, Royal Tower). Starting from 2026, developers will have to choose Uzbek names or adapt foreign names to the norms of the state language. <\/p>\n<p>This can affect the marketing of premium residential buildings, where foreign names are traditionally associated with prestige. Builders will need to find a balance between compliance with the law and attractiveness for the target audience. <\/p>\n<p>Strengthening the role of regional inspectorates is aimed at improving the quality of construction and monitoring compliance with regulations.
