Why is this important<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The cost of parking at 12 thousand soums\/hour<\/strong> is becoming too high a burden for citizens with low salaries. For those working 8 hours a day in the city center, the monthly cost exceeds the minimum wage. The high cost, as well as the lack of transparency in where the received money goes, raises questions among the population. Compared to neighboring countries (100 tenge or 2302 soums in Kazakhstan, 3 somoni or 3879 soums in Tajikistan) \u2014 Tashkent’s tariffs seem economically unjustified and socially unfair. <\/p>\n

      • At least 5% of such parking spaces are free for preferential categories and an opportunity to increase this quota.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Parking in prohibited areas<\/h3>\n

        • Some parking spaces are installed on sections of roads marked with a prohibitive sign.<\/li>\n
        • Paid parking creates a misconception: \u201cif you paid \u2014 you can\u201d, and this is not a violation of traffic rules.<\/li>\n
        • Parking even after payment in a place where parking is prohibited by the Road Patent contradicts the principles of equality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
