Eco-stickers will become a key control tool: their color will determine whether the car will be able to drive into certain areas of the city. <\/p>\n<h3>What happened<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Government <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/huquqiyaxborot\/18983\">approved<\/a> the procedure for assigning environmental categories to motor vehicles and issuing special eco-stickers.<\/li>\n<li>The environmental category is determined by the vehicle&#8217;s environmental class.<\/li>\n<li>Depending on the category, the owner will receive a sticker of one of three colors: green, yellow, red.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles will be divided by fuel type and compliance with \u201cEuro\u201d standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Numbers and facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The clean category is the <strong>green sticker:<\/strong> it will include electric and hybrid cars, cars under 3 years old, gasoline and gas cars of the \u201cEuro-2\u201d and higher standard, diesel cars of the \u201cEuro-4\u201d and higher standard.<\/li>\n<li>Middle category \u2014 <strong>yellow sticker:<\/strong> \u201cEuro-0\u201d and \u201cEuro-1\u201d gasoline and gas vehicles, \u201cEuro-3\u201d diesel vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Harmful category \u2014 <strong>red sticker:<\/strong> diesel cars of the \u201cEuro-0\u201d, \u201cEuro-1\u201d and \u201cEuro-2\u201d standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u201cEuro\u201d standard and stickers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The environmental standard can be found by: technical passport data, online verification via VIN code, factory label under the hood, manufacturer&#8217;s information.<\/li>\n<li>For diesel models, the environmental standard is generally one step lower.<\/li>\n<li>Eco-stickers will be issued: in the Road Safety Service units when registering or re-registering a vehicle or voluntarily through the Ministry of Internal Affairs website or my.gov.uz portal.<\/li>\n<li>Upon compliance with the requirements, the owner is issued an indefinite-release eco-sticker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>System<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The introduction of the \u201cEnvironmental Transport\u201d system, aimed at reducing harmful emissions, is planned from <strong>January 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Eco-stickers will allow: determining the environmental class of the car, introducing restrictions on traffic depending on the level of harmful emissions.<\/li>\n<li>Special information signs will be installed at the boundaries of the zones, and information about the zones will be posted on online platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Context<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Vehicle owners with yellow and red stickers may face restrictions on entering certain districts of Tashkent in the future.<\/li>\n<li>Owners of \u201cclean\u201d cars will have an advantage when driving around the city.<\/li>\n<li>The system effectively lays the foundation for the gradual displacement of the most polluting transport from the center of the capital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The system effectively lays the foundation for the gradual displacement of the most polluting transport from the center of the capital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":13173,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":true,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_sharing_image":{"poster":"https:\/\/frank.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/692e85804b615.jpg","width":1200,"height":630,"template":"2bf59057","mode":"auto"},"_sharing_image_fieldset":{"Dv78f24rp1hU":13173,"YlB8HH34jIzY":"Tashkent will be divided into ecological zones and quality stickers for cars will be introduced"},"pin_until":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[2061],"tags":[2302,2377,2068],"class_list":["post-13244","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","tag-automobiles","tag-ecology","tag-government"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.0 (Yoast SEO v25.9) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Tashkent will be divided into ecological zones and quality stickers for cars will be introduced &#8212;
