The growth of such companies affects employment, capital inflow, and the development of individual industries. For the state, this dynamic serves as an indicator of investment attractiveness and business environment stability.  <\/p>\n<h3>What happened<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The number of enterprises with foreign investments <a href=\"https:\/\/stat.uz\/ru\/press-tsentr\/novosti-goskomstata\/65655-demografiya-predpriyatiy-i-organizaciy-10-11-2025-2\">continues<\/a> to grow in Uzbekistan \u2014 this is the conclusion of the National Statistics Committee as of December 1.<\/li>\n<li>In a month and a year, the number of companies with foreign participation has increased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Numbers and facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>As of December 1, there were 17,900 enterprises with foreign investments in Uzbekistan.<\/li>\n<li>In a month, their number grew by 305 companies, which corresponds to a 1.7% increase.<\/li>\n<li>In November, 281 subsidiaries of foreign companies and 28 joint ventures were established.<\/li>\n<li>In annual terms, the growth amounted to 2,450 companies, or almost 16%.<\/li>\n<li>China ranks first in the number of companies with foreign participation \u2014 4,873 enterprises or 27.2% of the total number, with 142 new companies created in a month and 1,501 in a year.<\/li>\n<li>Russia is in second place with 3209 companies, which is 17.9%, with a monthly growth of 32 and an annual growth of less than 5%, while Russia accounts for 909 joint ventures.<\/li>\n<li>Turkey closes the top three with 2,109 companies, increasing the indicator by 19 in a month and 187 in a year.<\/li>\n<li>In Kazakhstan, 1199 companies with foreign investments are registered, which is 14 more than a month ago and 101 more than last year.<\/li>\n<li>691 companies have been established by South Korean investors, and 637 enterprises are located in Afghanistan.<\/li>\n<li>In the UAE, 404 companies were registered (+8 per month), in Tajikistan \u2014 386 (+7), in India \u2014 364 (+8).<\/li>\n<li>Azerbaijan came in tenth with 353 companies (+10), surpassing Kyrgyzstan with 346 and the US with 336 enterprises.<\/li>\n<li>The largest number of foreign enterprises operate in the trade sector \u2014 6403 companies.<\/li>\n<li>About 3.7 thousand enterprises operate in industry, including 1.4 thousand joint projects.<\/li>\n<li>1389 companies are registered in construction, 1377 in IT services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Context<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The growth of enterprises with foreign investments testifies to the expansion of the presence of foreign business in the economy of Uzbekistan.<\/li>\n<li>The continued leadership of China and Russia indicates the stability of their investment activity, while the dynamics of other countries reflect the diversification of capital sources.<\/li>\n<li>The concentration of foreign companies in trade, industry, construction, and IT shows which sectors remain the most attractive for foreign investors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the same time, China and Russia remain the largest investors in the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":13958,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_sharing_image":{"poster":"https:\/\/frank.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/6940f226591af.jpg","width":1200,"height":630,"template":"2bf59057","mode":"auto"},"_sharing_image_fieldset":{"Dv78f24rp1hU":13958,"YlB8HH34jIzY":"The number of foreign-invested companies in Uzbekistan rose by 1.7% over the month"},"pin_until":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[2061],"tags":[3008,3675,2143],"class_list":["post-13980","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","tag-entrepreneurship","tag-foreign-capital","tag-investments"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.0 (Yoast SEO v25.9) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>The number of foreign-invested companies in Uzbekistan rose by 1.7% over the month &#8212;
