It arrived in Urgut via the new Samarkand \u2014 Urgut railway line, which is considered an important element of the region&#8217;s development. <br data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"597\">During the visit, a project to create trade, logistics, and medical centers on the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border was presented. The goal of the initiative is to transform the territory from a transit zone into a full-fledged point of economic activity and service. <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"855\">Why is this important<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"1256\">The project strengthens the economic integration of border regions and reduces costs for businesses and the population. The development of logistics, medicine, and trade in one location creates new jobs, increases the added value of products, and simplifies cross-border interaction. The new railway line and simplified procedures make the region more attractive for investment and entrepreneurship.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1277\">Numbers and facts<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1719\">\n<li data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1383\">\n<p data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1383\">The new Samarkand \u2014 Urgut railway line will reduce the distance and costs for businesses and passengers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1474\">\n<p data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1474\">The logistics center is designed to serve up to 100 trucks per day.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1552\">\n<p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1552\">The diagnostic center will be able to receive about 200 patients daily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1639\">\n<p data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1639\">It is planned to create conditions for 800 entrepreneurs in the shopping center.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1640\" data-end=\"1719\">\n<p data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1719\">The project provides for the reduction of bureaucracy and the acceleration of customs procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1721\" data-end=\"1735\">Context<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"2071\">Urgut district is considered a promising growth point on the Uzbek-Tajik border.
