Financing the construction and repair of social facilities determines the accessibility of basic services for the population and reduces the burden on regional budgets. The creation of a separate fund allows for the centralization of resources and improves the manageability of social sphere expenditures.  <\/p>\n<h3>What happened<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The President of Uzbekistan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norma.uz\/novoe_v_zakonodatelstve\/sozdan_fond_stroitelstva_i_remonta_uchrejdeniy_socialnoy_sfery\">adopted<\/a> a resolution \u201cOn Measures to Ensure the Sustainable Development of the Education, Healthcare, and Sports Systems\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The document defines the goals for the construction of new schools, reconstruction of existing educational institutions, and equipping them with modern equipment.<\/li>\n<li>It is also planned to provide healthcare and sports institutions with the necessary buildings and infrastructure, as well as to accelerate the repair and reconstruction of existing facilities.<\/li>\n<li>To finance these activities, a Fund for the Construction and Repair of Social Sphere Institutions is being established under the Ministry of Economy and Finance without the status of a legal entity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Numbers and facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>50% of the balance of extra-budgetary funds of republican executive authorities as of January 1, 2026, including a portion of temporarily unused funds placed on deposits, will be allocated to the Fund.<\/li>\n<li>In 2025, the Fund&#8217;s funding source will be 2 trillion soums from the State Social Protection Fund under the National Social Protection Agency.<\/li>\n<li>The formation of the Fund also allows for the attraction of other sources not prohibited by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Context<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Financing for the construction and repair of social facilities will be concentrated in one specialized mechanism.<\/li>\n<li>This creates a basis for a more systematic renewal of schools, medical and sports institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Centralization of funds can simplify the planning and implementation of large infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>The adoption of the new resolution continues this line of state policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The funds will be allocated for the renovation of educational, healthcare, and sports institutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":14780,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_sharing_image":{"poster":"https:\/\/frank.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/695b9b190c252.jpg","width":1200,"height":630,"template":"2bf59057","mode":"auto"},"_sharing_image_fieldset":{"Dv78f24rp1hU":14780,"YlB8HH34jIzY":"A fund for the construction and repair of social facilities will be created in Uzbekistan"},"pin_until":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[2061],"tags":[2313,2143],"class_list":["post-14786","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","tag-construction","tag-investments"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.0 (Yoast SEO v25.9) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>A fund for the construction and repair of social facilities will be created in Uzbekistan &#8212;
