At the same time, abandoning sovereign debt and relying solely on stocks demonstrates how foreign investors assess risks and growth potential.  <\/p>\n<h3>What happened<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>American investor Jim Rogers, head of Beeland Interests, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbc.ru\/quote\/news\/article\/6953ca349a794708b6977e87\">announced<\/a> the purchase of shares in several companies from Uzbekistan.<\/li>\n<li>According to him, the investment portfolio included shares of most issuers traded on the Tashkent Stock Exchange, which were acquired closer to the end of 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Numbers and facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Rogers stated that he acquired most of the shares listed on the Tashkent Stock Exchange, noting that the number of such issuers is limited.<\/li>\n<li>The investor emphasized that he did not invest in Uzbekistan&#8217;s sovereign debt, but only bought shares of companies.<\/li>\n<li>Rogers reported that he did not hedge currency risks and expressed confidence in the national currency \u2014 the sum.<\/li>\n<li>In the fall, he sold all the securities of Russian companies, including shares of \u201cAeroflot\u201d, \u201cFosAgro\u201d, AFC \u201cSystem\u201d, as well as securities of the Moscow Exchange and federal loan bonds.<\/li>\n<li>Funds from the sale of Russian assets were left in the account at the Moscow Exchange.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Context<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Rogers&#8217;
