The machine was the first where artificial intelligence was adapted to the national language features. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>UzPride was assembled at the<strong> BYD Uzbekistan Factory<\/strong> in Jizzakh, Gazeta.uz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazeta.uz\/ru\/2025\/08\/30\/song-plus-uzpride\/\">reports<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seventeen components<\/strong> (bumpers, glass, seats, sound insulation, etc.) have been localised.<\/li>\n<li>For the first time, an <strong>AI assistant in the Uzbek language<\/strong> was introduced, trained on <strong>1.5 million speech recordings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The assistant recognises various dialects and pronunciations, learning as it is used.<\/li>\n<li>Model development took <strong>14 months<\/strong> instead of the planned 3 years;<\/li>\n<li>Local partners participated in the project: Avtooyna, Uzdongyang, Uz-Koram-Co, UzAuto-Austem, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>The company is considering launching the <strong>Bao 5<\/strong> and <strong>Bao 8<\/strong> SUVs in Uzbekistan (late 2025 \u2014 early 2026).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ivan Cao, BYD Central Asia:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLocal cars, local production, local language, local financing and service \u2014 this makes the project truly local\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan is emerging as a major hub for the production of Chinese electric vehicles and hybrids in the region.
