This strengthens the country&#8217;s attractiveness to investors. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Uzbekistan&#8217;s GDP growth \u2014 <strong>5.9%<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Budget deficit \u2014 <strong>2.3% of GDP<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Government debt \u2014 <strong>33%<\/strong> of <strong>GDP<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Inflation \u2014 <strong>8.8%<\/strong> (in Kazakhstan \u2014 10.4%);<\/li>\n<li>Current account deficit \u2014 <strong>5% of GDP<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Kazakhstan ranked 10th in the rating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated in August that over the past eight years, Uzbekistan&#8217;s economy has doubled and reached <strong>$115 billion<\/strong>.
