The agency notes that growth will remain below trend. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>World: 2025 \u2014 2.4% (in June it was 2.2%); 2026 \u2014 2.3%.<\/li>\n<li>USA: 2025 forecast has been raised to 1.6%, but \u201chard\u201d statistics indicate economic weakening.<\/li>\n<li>Eurozone: 1.1% (from 0.8%); part of the increase is due to advance purchases against the backdrop of American tariffs.<\/li>\n<li>China: 4.7% (with 4.2%).<\/li>\n<li>Additionally: Fitch also pulled up its FY26 forecast for India to 6.9%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the agency, global growth will slow down from 2.9% in 2024 to 2.4% in 2025, and then to 2.3% in 2026 \u2014 lower than the long-term trend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fitch Ratings improved its June 2025 global GDP forecast to 2.4% against a backdrop of stronger data for the second quarter.
