Postponement can reduce social tension and simplify the transition to new rules. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What happened<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Until October 1, 2025, moped and scooter owners are required to obtain an \u201cA\u201d category driver&#8217;s license and undergo state registration.<\/li>\n<li>The deadline for state registration of old vehicles is September 30.<\/li>\n<li>The PDPU states that the established deadline is too short.<\/li>\n<li>The party emphasizes that many people are dependent on the income they receive from courier activities on mopeds and scooters, and demands to revise the terms and payments.<\/li>\n<li>The PDPU proposes: to postpone mandatory rules until 2026, to revise the amount of payment, as well as to send a deputy&#8217;s request to improve the standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What they say<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is noted that \u201cin one day, hundreds of thousands of young people may be left without a source of income and without work\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>PDPU: \u201cThe government has indeed extended the deadlines, however&#8230; considering the large number of applicants, it is necessary to once again consider the feasibility of the requirements\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In April 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the deadline from March 1 to October 1, 2025, for obtaining \u201cA\u201d category rights and registering mopeds\/scooters. The decree approved the appearance of moped and scooter license plates, and liability for registration violations begins on October 1st.
