This contributes to the development of supply chains, increasing the airport&#8217;s revenue, and improving the city&#8217;s status as a cargo aviation hub. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What did the numbers show<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International transportation amounted to <strong>49.2 thousand tons<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>CIS-transportation \u2014 <strong>10.3 thousand tons<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Domestic transportation \u2014 <strong>490 tons<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In international areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exports increased from 4.3 to 6.7 thousand tons;<\/li>\n<li>Import \u2014 from 26.8 to 36 thousand;<\/li>\n<li>Transit \u2014 from 43.3 to 47.3 thousand tons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In the CIS segment:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Export \u2014 2.4 thousand tons;<\/li>\n<li>Import \u2014 5,4 thousand tons;<\/li>\n<li>Transit \u2014 2,4 thousand tons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The terminal&#8217;s current capacity is 330 tons per day, with an annual capacity of 120,000 tons. The construction of an 8.2 thousand m cargo canopy and 1.2 thousand m refrigerated warehouses is planned for 2025-2026. In 2027-2028, a cargo warehouse will appear in Terminal-3 with an area of 16,000 square meters.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The growth of cargo turnover coincides with the trend of expanding Uzbekistan&#8217;s exports and import activity. The airport is strengthening infrastructure for future volumes of cargo and value-added services.
