Why is this important
The decrease in competition when wages fall indicates difficult conditions in the labor market: demand for labor is increasing, but supply does not yet provide a qualitative balance.
What happened
- The number of resumes for the quarter is 239 thousand (minus 3% by 2024), vacancies — 33 thousand (plus 24%).
- On average — 7 people per place (minus 21.7%).
Highest competition:
- security — 16 applicants for vacant positions;
- working specialties — 13,5;
- transport — 13,4;
- household staff — 13,2.
Competition is least seen in HR (2.7), top management (3.3), procurement (3.4), industry (3.6), and insurance (3.8). Growth of competition in individual cities: +60% in Asaka, almost half in Yangiyul.
Context
Tashkent — 73% of all resumes, but −7% per year; in Samarkand, the growth was 11.2%. The number of applicants increased sharply in Tinchlik (×7.5) and Fergana (+17.9%). Job openings are most commonly found in sales, service, household, marketing, and transportation. The most “settling” spheres in the resume are: jurisprudence (-40%), insurance, education, and hotels.
