A unified portal “Intellectual Property Protection” will appear in Uzbekistan

The number of registered intellectual property objects in the country is planned to be set at 100 thousand, and the examination period for registration will be reduced by 2 times.

Why is this important

Intellectual property is the basis for the development of innovations, the IT sector, the creative economy, and the export of high-tech products. Reducing registration time and digitalization of procedures will simplify the protection of the rights of authors, inventors, and businesses, as well as strengthen the fight against counterfeiting.
