What happened
Fayzulla Tashov.
- Fayzulla Tashov, who previously headed the Department of Depository Services and Settlement and Payment Operations at the Central Securities Depository, has been appointed Acting Chairman;
- The decision was made by the Supervisory Board, which includes SAMA and South Korean KRX (Korea Exchange) as shareholders;
- The farewell ceremony was attended by representatives of the NAPP, CSD, NAII, and stock market participants.
Context
Paresishvili led the exchange for three years during the reform of the stock market and the launch of new instruments. Tashov will continue to digitalise and expand trading instruments, as well as strengthen investor confidence in the capital market.
