Why is this important
This is the first time an Uzbek fintech project has participated in Google’s global acceleration program. Heemera works at the intersection of AI and blockchain analytics — a promising segment of the global crypto industry.
Participation in the accelerator will increase the international recognition of Uzbek startups and attract new investments.
What happened
- Heemera was established in February 2024, and has been participating in the NAPP’s regulatory “sandbox” since July;
- The Company specializes in the return of crypto-assets stolen as a result of fraud, cyberattacks, and other illegal actions;
- In 2024, the startup processed 60 applications and helped recover assets worth 2.9 billion soums;
- Google Accelerator will provide access to technical expertise, mentoring, business advice, and product support;
- The startup uses AI for blockchain analysis: it identifies suspicious transactions, analyzes wallet behavior and connections to identify owners.

Context
Uzbekistan is actively developing fintech and crypto initiatives: in 2024, a regulatory “sandbox” for blockchain projects was launched. The crypto asset recovery market is estimated at billions of dollars, and Chainalysis, TRM Labs, and other international players are already operating in it.
