Uzbekistan and France reached an agreement on employment for citizens

As early as this summer, 50 Uzbek citizens will be sent for seasonal work, including jobs in vineyards.

Why is this important

Expanding organized labor migration makes it possible to move citizens’ employment abroad into a legal and regulated framework. This reduces the risks of illegal employment and increases the level of social protection for workers. At the same time, new employment channels are being created in high-demand sectors — from agriculture to services. For the state, this is a tool for the systematic regulation of migration and the development of international cooperation.
