Why is this important
Increased wheat production increases the country’s food security and can reduce dependence on imports. The growth of agricultural production puts pressure on logistics, agricultural machinery, and the seed/fertilizer market, requiring infrastructure improvements. Improving crop yields and expanding production can stimulate investment in the agricultural sector and the development of the processing industry.
